Mother's Day

Time for a challenge! This week's CAS-usal Fridays challenge is to use chipboard... hmmm, don't do that very often. But a few years ago I went through a thicker/sticker/chipboard alpha buying phase (mostly unused!) so I dug out some pretty Heidi Grace alphas and used them for this card:

Happy Friday all! If you're here in the UK I hope you had a wonderful Jubilee weekend last weekend - I had a lovely time with friends, watching the coverage and doing various Jubilee-themed activities, we all felt very proud to be British!

Thank goodness for challenges that kick-start our creativity... or if truth be told in this case get you out of a last minute pickle! I'd left it very late to make a guy card so used a Case Study challenge from a few weeks ago to get me going.

Sunshine on a rainy day

Well it's not quite BBQ weather but thankfully the rain has stopped for long enough to do a bit of gardening and enjoy a coffee outside.

Our current challenge on A Passion for Papertrey is all about this favourite of conversation-starters here in the UK - the weather! Because of the constant rain and flooding over the past few weeks I made a card that makes me think of lying on a beach and drinking cocktails... well I can dream!

Happy  Friday all! I was planning to go out to yoga this evening but the weather has been so miserable and I just didn't fancy leaving the house so I think it will be a cosy evening in front of the fire, maybe a film and some stamping - sounds good to me!!

Happy Easter! I hope you're having a lovely Easter weekend. I've just got back from a few days down in Cornwall, so nice to have a few days off work with time to go for long walks on the beach, catch up on some reading and see old friends.
