I'm back!

Hi everyone, 4 weeks after I killed my laptop I'm finally all set up with a shiny new one and can get back to blogging - it feels like forever! But the time off has allowed me to make quite a few cards so I look forward to sharing them.

So a Valentine's card today - made with Stampin Up's Best Wishes and More set. I'm not sure you can see the sparkliness of the heart but once I stamped and cut them out I coated them with Versamark ink, heat set some Heat and Stick powder to make them sticky then sprinkled them with Dazzling Diamonds glitter - serious sparkle!

The upper half of the white layer is embossed with the swiss dots cuttlebug folder, the hearts are popped up with dimensionals onto black cardstock punched with Stampin Up's scallop square punch.

That's about it for today - off to watch Barack Obama's inaugaration. What a historic day :)

Looking forward to hopping round everyone's blogs in a bit too, it's been a while! Take care everyone and see you soon!

Recipe:
(All supplies Stampin Up)

Ink - Real Red/Pretty in Pink/Basic Black
Cardstock - Whisper White/Basic Black/Pretty in Pink/Real Red
Other - cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder/Pretty in Pink ribbon/black brads/dimensionals/Heat and Stick powder/Dazzling Diamonds glitter/scallop square punch
