Zingy flowers
How about something zingy on a very dull and damp day? I love this stamp set...how many flowers have you seen with bright pink stems though! Don't you love artistic licence!
I used Only Orange and Pink Passion markers to colour the stamp (Live Your Dream) and stamped the background with the Polka Dot backgrounder with Pink Passion. As we don't have Pink Passion ribbon I coloured some Whisper White grosgrain ribbon with the Pink Passion marker et voila.... perfect match!! I added some stickles to the flower centres and used the paper piercer to pierce around the edges.
Recipe
Stamps - Live Your Dream/Circle of Friendship/Polka Dot backgrounder
Ink - Only Orange/Pink Passion (markers)
Card - Whisper White/Only Orange/Pink Passion
Other - white grosgrain ribbon/crafter's tool kit/buttons/embroidery floss/circle punches/stickles

WOW What a wonderful card, so bright and cheery! Great idea about colouring in whisper white ribbon with marker pens for the exact shade - I'll have to take note of that :)
Thanks for sharing.

Fabulous card Kate, I love it.
I've had a go at colouring ribbon with markers I was surprised at how easy the colour took :)
I struggle with piercing card, whenever I try the card 'crumples' - how do you get round that??
Fab card

Stunning Kate. Just what we need on dull days - a real fizzer of a card.
The ribbon looks great. I'll have to try colouring it like that. I tend to avoid colouring but even I should manage it - it won't matter if I go over the lines.;-)

This is really 'zingy' and really cheerful for spring. Great card Kate. Zoe
HI Kate,
believe it or not I never used Only Orange but you have convinced me to try. Lovely layout and elegant result (as ever).
