This week's challenge at Stamp With Us is a fun colour challenge and the Design Team have come up with some samples to help inspire you!
This is the picture we took inspiration from :
As soon as I saw the picture I wanted to use colour blocking - it's so popular in fashion right now and I thought it would be fun to use it on a card.
I used panels of Read Red, Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery cardstock for the background and used the same colours in an opposite direction to ink up the flower, something a bit different but I quite like the modern look!
Don't forget to visit Stamp With Us to check out the other samples and to enter yourself!
I'd also like to thank Michelle so much for giving me this blog award:
Thank you! I'm going to have to go away and think about who to pass this on to, but in the meantime do visit Michelle's blog for plenty of inspiration!
Thanks for visiting today!!

P.S Ta for the sweet positive comment about my attempt to sew a corsage - not quite up to sewing on cards yet though LOL!
Oooh I love it!
Wonderful card! Love the way you inked the flowers!! Thank you for your comment - these stamps would have been my choices, too. Love the versatility of all three.
Ooh love the clean lines of the background here. Very fresh and modern looking. Fabulous as always. Sara xx
lovely Kate will have to lift this idea I think
Very nice.
Great inspiration.
Have a great day,
Paola
Lovely card Kate, in my infinite stupidity I only just realised you might have your own blog as well as the PTI one, mind if I link you??
HI Kate,
I reckon your colour blocking effect worked out great!! Really effective way of combining those bright colours especially on the flower.
