Pull up a chair
Men's cards .....tricky aren't they! This is a card I made for a dear family friend in Australia, the image is a Lockhart stamp, stamped on Kraft card and coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils. I love this chair, doesn't it look so inviting!
Some navy blue and vintage brads.... traditional but I think it works, so long as he likes it that's all that matters!
After a glorious few days of sunshine it's grey and drizzly today :( Come on summer!!!
Thanks for visiting today!

I agree, male cards are so daunting sometimes. But your card looks perfect, it reminds me of those heady days of summer (the last being about 3 years ago lol!)
The kraft & navy colours are so right for male cards - I will def give that combo a go.
As always, your friend.

What a great card love the way you have stamped onto something other than white. I think we all struggle with mens cards.

Love this image Kate, it is a perfect mans one! Loving Kraft too shame SU! don't sell it on it's own isn't it? is yours PTI? Well it's lovely anyway. Overcast here too, but yesterday was so windy you couldn't even leave the doors open! Have a good one
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
Great card Kate, I love the stamp and the fact that it's not on whisper white or very vanilla cardstock :)
Have a good day,

Oh well at least I'm not on my own in the showers today!
Lovely card, never think to stamp images AND colour on Kraft card but it looks so effective!

HI Kate,
perfect card for a bloke. you just want to go sit in the chair and read your paper;) I love how you coloured the image on the kraft paper rather than white.
Love Kim
Yes, making cards for men is challenging, but you did a lovely job! I bet I know who this card is for, and he's going to love it :)
