CAS challenges

I'm rushing around trying to get everything done before I go on holiday tomorrow - am so looking forward to some time away with dear friends - but just wanted to post two cards from recent Splitcoast CAS challenges.

The first was to use turquoise, orange and yellow on a card - oh how I loved this challenge!

Recipe:
Stamps - Pocket Silhouettes
Ink - Tempting Turquoise/So Saffron/Pumpkin Pie
Card - Whisper White/So Saffron
Other - Tempting Turquoise marker

The next was a sketch challenge based on this card, here's mine:

Am I allowed to say I love this card lol?! The colours were totally inspired by this fabulous card by the equally fabulous Kim, aren't they great together?!

Recipe: Stamps - Touch of Nature
Ink - Tempting Turquoise
Card - Whisper White/Tempting Turqouise/Basic Grey

Other - Crafter's Tool Kit/Grey ribbon

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend - how nice was it have some sun?! Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Jules - she and her family were on their way down to Cornwall and stopped off in Taunton so we could go for a quick drink and chat - we've chatted on the phone but it was so nice to meet in person! Here's a pic of us:

Thanks for visiting and I'll catch up you all when I'm back next Monday, take care!

Hi Kate,

thanks for the rave rap. Funnily enough I prefer your card to mine!! I would find having that much white daunting but it looks spectacular when you do it!!

Love Kim
