Summer Days....

Hi everyone, I hope you've had a fabulous weekend! I'm sure if you're here in the UK you'll have been enjoying this amazing heatwave we've been having - I can't remember it being this hot for years! (And I have the sunburn to prove it lol!) I adore our seasons, but I'm a summer kinda gal and I'd be happy if it stayed like this until September... ok, pigs might fly but it's nice to dream!

As much as I love making cards, this card is one that I never like making - a sympathy card for a dear friend. I kept it very simple, just enough I hope, to let him know he was in my thoughts and prayers.

Recipe: (All Papertrey Ink)

Stamps - With Sympathy/Mega Mixed Messages
Card - Vintage Cream/Plum Pudding
Ink - Ripe Avocado/Plum Pudding/True Black
Ribbon - Ripe Avocado

Time for me to go to bed - good night all!

It's a lovely card Kate, I just think traditional sympathy cards are so cold (silver & white:( I'm sure your friend will be grateful for it.

Just the right combination of colour and simplicity for a sympathy card - they are so difficult aren't they. This one is lovely.

I have been enjoying the weather too - now the play is over I am actually getting to enjoy it!

Great card and I know your friend will appreciate it. As you say not great cards to have to make but I know they are always really appreciated.

I've loved this weather but from the shade (Too long in that sun and I'm a lobster LOL!)
So sorry you had to make a sympathy card - though this one is so comforting with those colours. I'm sure your friend will be really grateful to receive it and know that you're thinking of him.
Hugs,
Aimes
