Time for tea

I've been stuck at home for a few days with a stinking cold, but it has meant that I've been able to immerse myself in the extraordinary unravelling of our General Election - the past 24 hours have been so historic and so exciting!

It's also meant that I've had a chance to finally sit down and catch up on everyone's blogs, there are some amazing creations out there and now I can't wait to get in my craft room at the weekend!

This is a card I made for a dear friend a few weeks ago - you know how some people just 'own' a colour, well my dear friend Susie 'owns' green. She also shares my affection for teapots, so her card had to feature a green teapot!

Recipe: (All Papertrey Ink, unless otherwise stated)

Stamps: Tea for Two/Vintage Labels
Card: Kraft/Vintage Cream
Paper - Pretty Pastels
Ink - Spring Moss/Antique Linen Distress Ink (Spellbinders)/Memento Black
Other - Labels One Dies (Spellbinder)/Sewing machine/Vintage Cream Buttons

Thanks for stopping by today!

I'm gutted I had to miss most of the coverage - it sounded so exciting!

Kate I love this card SO much, it's sitting, well - you know where - right on the windowsill above the kettle and tea pots of course :)
(and it's so 'my' colour!)
