A tree themed birthday

Good morning and happy Tuesday - I hope you had a good weekend! Mine was super busy because I spent the whole weekend recording a CD!  I'm very privileged to sing for a wonderful choir called 'Harmonia Sacra', a small group of 25 - 30 singers from across the South West specialising in early music. We meet a few times a year for intensive reahearsal weekends that culminate in a concert.

This was our first CD recording, and although it was a very long weekend's work (and we were singing entirely in Russian!) it was an amazing experience and something very special to be part of. I'll let you know when the CD is out!

So do you remember it was Aimes' birthday a few weeks ago? Now I know she received her parcel I can share what I made for her:

Recipe: (All PTI unless otherwise stated)
Stamps: Through The Trees, Tiny Tags
Ink: New Leaf, Fresh Snow
Card: Kraft, New Leaf, Fine Linen
Other: sewing machine, New Leaf ribbon, twine, New Leaf button, Limitless Layers Dies

I worked the theme of the card and tag around the wee gift inside the box - a necklace with a tree on it - another lovely Etsy find. I do love supporting individual artists instead of the high street!

Hugs,

Total loveliness! I'm a big fan of the Limitless Labels dies, so I always appreciate projects that show different ways to use them. Thank you so much for the inspiration!

Such a beautiful card and gift Kate...and what a fabulous weekend you've had. I'd have trouble singing and hitting the right notes in English let alone Russian.
