Belated challenge

Just catching up on posts I missed when I was 'off radar' - Carole's Colour Combo challenge last week on In Love With Stamping was a fun, bright one - she took colours from Stampin Up's Rainbow Sherbet papers - Tempting Turquoise, Gable Green, Green Galore and Apricot appeal. I don't think I'd ever have put them together but that's what great about challenges! Anyway, anything with turquoise is A-OK by me!

The flowers are stamped using the Polka Dot Punches Sale-A-Bration set (offer still on til Feb 28th - a free set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue with every £45 you spend from the main catalogue - contact me if you're interested!) I punched them out with the 5-Petal Flower Punch which it's designed to fit. Turquoise brads added to the flower centres then mounted onto squares punched out with the Scallop Square Punch.

The sentiment is a single 'friend to friend' stamp from the Pocket Silhouettes set, stamped repeatedly with the help of the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the placement right.

Such a wet, gloomy day here but I spied the first snowdrops of the year poking up through the earth, lovely to see the first signs of spring!

Recipe:
(All supplies Stampin Up unless stated )

Stamps - Polka Dot Punches/Pocket Silhouettes
Ink - Greet Galore/Tempting Turquoise/Basic Black
Cardstock - Whisper White/Gable Green/Green Galore/Tempting Turquoise
Other - cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder/turquoise brads/dimensionals

Kate,

I tried to "email" you but the link did not work. It did not work on the "contact me" part either. Anyway, I wanted to ask you about your Golden Retrievers. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about this bred. So if you could email me - I'd appreciate it. tonya.vanwinkle@yahoo. com Thanks so much! Very nice card - where do you purchase your cuttlebug folders in the UK?
