Shabby PTI

This is the card I made for my mum on Mother's Day. She's a historian and love anything with a vintage feel. In an antiques market I found an Edwardian Mother's Day card (imagine that - a card that was written and sent around 100 years ago!) which I gave to her with this card and a history book she wanted.

All supplies are from Papertrey Ink, details are here on our PTI blog.

Thanks for visiting!

oh Kate what a lovely gift, is there anyway you can photograph the old card or scan it so we can all see it - how wonderful, what a great find.

love this card for your Mum - I bet she was thrilled. Wouldn't it be amazing to think that our cards would be found by someone in 100 years time...

Beautiful card! I love the "lacey" edging! I think your Mother will love the card and what a great find, a card over 100 years old. I am sure your Mother will love her gifts.
