A very happy sunny Sunday to you! I've no doubt that everyone is enjoying the sunshine as much as me, and maybe the same shade of pink as me!!
I've had a lovely chilled out weekend - went to the TwentyTwenty cricket on Friday evening ( we lost boo-hoo!) then spent the rest of the weekend catching up with friends, cooking some great food and enjoying the sun.
And now it's Sunday which means another Stamp With Us challenge - this week it's a sketch challenge:
And here's my take on the sketch:
I had issues with this card, not least because I was adding some stitching to finish it off when my machine decided to chew it up so I had to start over - ggggrrrr! So this was a slightly rushed version of the orginal, still, I do like these colours together - Kraft, Elegant Eggplant and Sage Shadow.
Head over to the Stamp With Us blog to see what the rest of the Design Team did with the sketch and to enter.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy the sun while it lasts!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Seeing Spots
Ink - Sage Shadow/Elegant Eggplant
Card/Paper - Whisper White/Sage Shadow/Elegant Eggplant/Kraft DSP
Other - brads/1 1/4 and 1 3/8 circle punches.

Aww honey I really felt for you when you said your sewing machine chewed your work! How annoying! It must've thought your work was delicious - which it is btw!
Y'see that problem won't happen to me but only because I can't sew! LOL!

I adore this card Kate - so simple and the colours are stunning together.
Glad you have been having a good relaxing weekend in the sun - and who needs to worry about results.
I have been thinking about investing in a lightweight sewing machine so I could stitch on cards - do you have any recommendations (on what to get or not get!)
Lovely card

Great card, those colours are lovely together! love the layout too. I am a lovely shade of pink after waiting 2hrs to wave Josh off on a school trip to cornwall as the 1st coach broke down and the next one got stuck in traffic !!! gotta laugh, at leat it didn't break down 1/2 way there!
Hugs Sarah-Jane xx
Beautiful card Kate - can't go wrong with 'seeing spots'. Unfortunately I didn't get the time to do the challenge this week - I was one of those enjoying the sunshine. Wasn't it glorious!! Glad to hear you had a lovely chilled weekend.
