My first necklace!

Happy Friday all, nearly the weekend! Thanks to a dear friend of mine I made my first foray into jewellery making recently. Now Kat can whip up beautiful beaded necklaces in no time at all, but me... well it took me pretty much all day to make this necklace and ear-rings set for my mum, but she was a great teacher (and needed some patience!) and we had a lovely day beading and chatting. I love how it turned out... I can see that beading could get as addictive as stamping. And bead-shopping as addictive as stamp-shopping!!

Of course I had to make a card to match the necklace so I used my fab PTI cupcake die - I'm SO in love with this die!!!

Stamps: Big birthday wishes, Card: Hawai'in Shores, New Leaf, Paper: Green Boutique, Other: Ricrac die

Have a great weekend!

Gorgeous, another hobby is never a bad thing and think of all the shopping! As for the card, it's just so delicious! I love how you positioned the buttons, so sweet.
Have a fab weekend!
